Since 1982 the Alfoldy Gallery has been filled with original water colour paintings inspired by life in the Kootenays of British Columbia, Canada. The landscape, people, birds, flowers and animals are all subjects the artists enjoy painting and the four seasons influence each composition. Andy and Elaine Foldy are graduates of the Vancouver School of Art, now the Emily Carr School of Art and Design, and have been professional painters since 1970.
